I asked for a refund 5 minutes upon arrival so we could do something else that the boys would enjoy and was refused by the Waterpark Manager. We have never signed waivers to use the waterpark. This is not the usual at Avalanche Bay or other water parks that I have attended. The other 3 children were NOT allowed to body surf due to not having a parent on hand to sign a waiver. Although the slide has a 2 person tube to ride on, only 1 person is allowed on the tubes so I couldn't accompany him so that he could use the slides.Īnother upsetting part of our summer birthday party at this waterpark was that we brought 4 boys ages 12-14 only 1 of which was my own child. My 8 year old is only 47 inches and you guessed it he couldn't ride them. There are 2 main slides both of which require a child to be 48 inches. It is the worst waterpark experience that I have ever had! The staff constantly yelled at the kids, and adults for sitting in the wrong spots, putting their hands in the spraying water, and etc. I have visited Kalahari, Splash Village, Thunder Falls, and Avalanche Bay, Soaring Eagle Waterpark would better be named Soaring Eagle Wardenpark. We have been to several indoor water parks and Great Wolf Lodge, splash Universe in Dundee and in Frankenmuth are more fun, more to do and way more affordable for what your get! Be clear with your expectations you may find that can’t be met here Look for hidden cost and surprises of inconvenience occurred for us and left a horrid taste in our mouth. At one point management was pounding on the dog owners door making more noise then anyone.

There were dogs barking, kids running through the halls and the neighbors were banging something against the wall well after quiet time. 1 that’s 9, then 2 that are 4 and then 2 that’s are 3 had a good time. Fortunately my instinct took over and we were able to get our passes in advance.

Upon making reservations it was discovered to be $225 per night! After 4 phone calls we finally got the same answer the kids did! PER NIGHT!Kids were ok but we were embarrassed as can be! Then to find out they often run out of day passes and we came very close to loosing the day with them, it was disappointing. We thought the turtle cards meant Friday through Sunday for $225 and were so excited to give our children and 5 grandkids a fun weekend getaway.
